Kelvin Grove Park is about 5 minutes walk from Inn at the Falls, I took several videos there and want to show you a normal day in June at Kelvin Grove Park.
We are in Bracebridge, we saw more businesses reopening on Manitoba Street, we have guests calling and asking "can we swim now? And where can we swim?". What would be your Muskoka get-away look like this June? I dug around and got you some answers for Bracebridge area. This list will get longer and longer as more businesses and public places start to reopen, however, it's more than what you need for a sweet and refreshing get-away as long as you keep social distancing in mind. Your journey starts when you step into your vehicle, the drive to Muskoka is beautiful, of course this is a bonus for all passengers; if you are the driver, focus on the road. 😀 Don't forget to pack your swimming gears, here are all the outdoor recreation area (beaches, parks, lakes) that have re-opened. https://bracebridge.civicweb.net/document/24647 Enjoy shopping? More than half of the retail stores on Manitoba Street has reopened or have a date of reopening. Here are just few of them I walked into today. Even though we are 6 feet apart, I feel the social connection I need. If you would like to stay for dinner, there are plenty of restaurants for take out. Order ahead, pick up, you can either eat them on your way home, book a motel/inn room, or stay with us, enjoy you take-out at our relaxing setting, (individual balcony to your room or our social distancing tables at the best patio in town, overlooking Bracebridge Fall). Remember to take lots of photos, as we all try to make the best out of life during a pandemic and time like this shall not be forgotten! I hope you enjoy your get-away, your journey with yourself, partner, families and friends! This is Minna. My husband Cliff grew up in Muskoka, later moved to Kingston, and then Ottawa. We met in California while we both worked as software engineers for international software companies. Together we have 2 amazing boys, both under age of 4. Cliff and I purchased Inn at the Falls in February 2020, in our preparation to move back to Canada and contribute to the community where our family resides. We want to build the Inn as a place where People relax during their travel with families or travel for work People have a bite, enjoy a drink and chat with each other Couples get married and celebrate with their families People who rejuvenate, have a comfortable stay while they explore Muskoka Since the issue of stay-at-home order due to COVID-19, we slowed down the rollout of our beautiful and exciting vision, however, we see guests looking forward to return and many visitors to our website every day. If you stayed in Muskoka before, share with us your delightful memories (stories, photos) of this area. If you are restricted to travel now, how do you envision your next trip? Share your memories and vision with us!
